This past month has been so hectic at work and I am in desperate need of a holiday. I'm still working on convincing my sister to take the plunge and commit to another #sistersister trip, so in the meantime, packing lists will have to do. I'm thinking of a beach holiday with nothing but a bamboo bungalow near the Andaman Sea, sand, yoga, and seafood. This über minimal packing list covers all the essentials.
Every time I land back in the states I pack my schedule so that I can adjust to the time zone that much faster. After time at home on Thursday with my mom, I spent my first weekend back in the states with my younger sister and cousin. I refreshed my hair with a much needed appointment at Phia in the Short North and checked out the new juice spot Native. We had planned to experience an American favorite, a baseball game at Huntington Stadium but the Clippers game was rained out. Instead, we went to Redbox and rented 50 Shades (I'm finally catching up) and sampled some new boxed wines. We got up early to avoid the rush at Short North brunch favorite, Tasi on Saturday. We shopped all day in the Short North and Easton and ended up crashing in the evening. Sunday was spent touring homes and gardens after sipping bellinis at Lindey's in German Village.
